Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

After receiving from Guwahati airport and visiting the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country. Later transferred to Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga National Park is the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 square kilometres, is inhabited by the world's biggest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, panthers & bears, & thousands of birds. Evening enjoys local cultural programs (Bihu Dance Show/ direct payment basis). Overnight stay in a resort in Kaziranga.
JUNGLE ACTIVITIES AT KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK - SHILLONG

After an early Morning, you will be taken to the riding point for an Elephant Ride. After the ride, I returned back to the Hotel. After breakfast, drive to the Central Range (Kohora) of the park for a jeep safarLater transfer to Shillong. Shillong Known as ‘The Scotland of the East’. On the way, you will visit the biggest man made lake in Northeast India - Umium Lake. After Reaching Shillong, we checked in at the Hotel. After freshening, we will visit the Cathedral of Mary and the Polo Ground. Evening free for leisure and for shopping in the famous Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.
SHILLONG -MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI – SHILLONG

After breakfast and proceed to Mawlynnong. Today you can visit the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the skywalk. Beautiful view of the living Root Bridge. After lunch, proceed to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh. It is a beautiful drive of 45 kilometers passing through deep gorges & ravines. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, the Umngot river is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar / Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which a single span suspension bridge was constructed. Later back to Shillong.Overnight at Shillong.
SHILLONG- CHERRAPUNJEE – GUWAHATI

Morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunji which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of 1 ½ hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunji. Cherrapunji Contains some waterfalls & limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sister falls, Mawsmai Caves,Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park and the Thangkharang Park .Later back to Guwahati. Overnight at Guwahati.
GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Early Morning we will visit the popular Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills – a seat of the tantric cult in India & one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country and return back to the hotel. After breakfast, we will visit Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra, Balaji Temple & Basistha Ashram. Evening river Cruise on the mighty river Brahmaputra & visits the local market in Guwahati. Overnight in Guwahati. GUWAHATI-AIRPORT-RAILWAY-STATION-DROPPING After breakfast Check out from the hotel & transfer to Guwahati international Airport or Railway station for the onward journey.
