1. Hadimba Devi Temple
Hadimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungari Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manali, a hill station in the State of Himāchal Pradesh in north India.
It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, wife of Bhīma, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata. Born into a Rakshasa family, Hadimba vowed to marry one who would defeat her brother Hadimba, who was supposed to be very brave and fearless.
2. Manu Temple:
The next destination was Manu Temple, which is situated deep in the heart of old Manali. The location of Manu Temple provides the view of the untouched beauty of nature which has been inhabited by people for thousands of years. It is ironic that even the settlement of humans from a thousand years does not deteriorate the beauty of nature. There is no actual evidence when the temple was constructed but in 1992 it was reconstructed.
3. Vashishth Kund: Vashishth village is extremely significant when it comes to the heritage Indian Hindu culture as one of the saptarishis, Rishi Vashishth, stayed there for some time. There is a hot water spring known as Vashishth Kund. According to legend the saddened Rishi Vashishth after knowing that his children were killed by Vishwamitra tried to commit suicide, but the river refused to kill him. Vashishth Temple Manali-Approx. 4000 years’ old Historic Vashishth Temple at Manali. It is said that Beas Kund in Manali is the origin point of the mighty Beas River. Vashishth Manali is dedicated to the great sage Vashishth. Vashishth Temple: 7 am to 9 pm, Vashishth sacred baths: 7 am to 1 pm, and 2 pm to 9 pm on all days.
4. Nehru Kund:
Nehru Kund gets its name from the first Prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru who is said to have had water from the natural spring when he used to stay in Manali. Located on Manali Leh Highway, it is believed that the waters of this spring originate from famous Bhrigu Lake. Nehru Kund is known for the cold and pristine water running here and breathtaking scenery of mountains and valleys all around.
5. Hot water spring:
Located elegantly above River Beas, Vashishth is around 6km away from Manali town in Kullu district. This small village is now recognized around the World because of the commonly found hot water springs in this region.
The ponds or water ‘Kurds’ are located at the center point of the village. Vashishth hot water springs are a huge source of water for several other tourist places in and around Manali.
6. Mall Road:
Mall Road is the main street in Manali, city of Himachal Pradesh, India.
Automobiles, except emergency vehicles, are not allowed on this road.
Mall Road has a number of showrooms, department stores, shops, restaurants and cafes.
A Himachal emporium that sells handicraft products of Himachal Pradesh like locally designed woolen clothes, branded clothes, pottery items, wooden Products, and jewellery is also located here.
